This is the Cadillac of big log chainsaw slabbing kits. The Logosol Big Mill Pro kit consists of two Timberjig sawmills joined together with a Big Mill LSG mounting set, plus a Big Mill Basic rail support system and two M7 9.8ft (3m) guide rails. This is all tied together with arm extensions and fixing plates. The Big Mill PRO slides effortlessly on the guide rails, and unlike the Big Mill LSG, the first cut is precisely made with the aid of the rail system. Maximum cutting width is approximately 40" (100cm) which requires a 47" bar. Maximum depth of the cuts is 8" (20cm). The length of cut is limited to the 9' (2.75m), but you can extend the mill with additional rails. You can either cut wide, rough-edged boards, or saw beams that are then cut into ordinary edged planks and boards, using one of the TimberJigs. This Big Mill Pro kit uses a saw with a 47" (120cm) long guide bar, which can make a 40" (100cm) wide cut. As with the Timberjig, the Big Mill Pro quickly bolts to almost all chainsaws with standard (non-full wrap) handlebars. We recommend using chainsaws no smaller than 90cc for milling wide slabs, and a ripping chain is recommended if you require a smooth lumber surface. We also recommend using a battery powered drill for assembly and a peavy to help turn the logs. Manual included.
